- If you cannot personally visit the instituteswe collaborate with or if you prefer to entrust some specialist to performarchival and bibliographic searches for you in these same institutes, thenyou can use our search on demand service: ourinformation specialists will accomplish in-depth inquiries tailored to meetyour needs, or simply retrieve the materials you ask for.
- If you are looking for reproductions --either photocopies, printor digital reproductions-- of materials preserved in the instituteswe collaborate with, then contact our document reproductionservice: we can offer you a whole variety of solutions, ranging from photocopiesof recent journal articles to poster-size, high-quality photographs of ancientcartographic materials or manuscripts. Copyrightlaw restrictions apply.
- Our document delivery service cansupply you with the reproductions you requested or with the results of thebibliographic or documentary searches you commissioned to our informationservices.
- When searching for and through old manuscripts, it becomes oftennecessary and useful to transcribe the textual contents of the document:our transcription service will transcribe for you documents in old Venetian,Latin and old German. To request such service, check it out when fillingin the form for a guided search (remember that with complex searches, thetranscription is included in the general price). - Although at the moment our translation service is addressed toItalian- and German-speaking customers, we can provide abstracts in Englishof the documents selected by the user that are written in old Venetian,Latin and old German. Who we are
- Marsilio Editori is a traditionalas well as electronic publishing house located in Venice. At the momentour group is coordinating the VENetIanVirtual Archive Project (ESPRIT20638), within which the current initiative on added-value services forlibraries and archives takes place.
- Our information specialists are professional people with a specificpreparation on archival and bibliographic studies, palaeography, ancientlanguages that know the collections of the instituteswe collaborate with particularly well.
